His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.
Are you living in the light of eternity? Do you think about how your everyday choices, such as how you treat your family, spend your time, or steward your resources, have eternal implications? Most people, including Christians, often prioritize the present over eternal significance.
So, what does it mean to live in light of eternity? Living this way as Christians means we live for God's glory, knowing that He will share it with us in Heaven. This is not a burden, but a joyous privilege. How we behave, what we say, and how we treat our neighbors all carry spiritual significance.
Thankfully, we aren't expected to live the Christian life in our own power. As we seek Christ and grow in relationship with God, He will give us everything we need to live a godly life. His grace is transformative, strong where we are weak, and a promise we can hold onto (2 Peter 1: 3).
With boldness, you can face the future with gratitude, generosity, and graciousness. You can let your light shine before others so they may see your good works and give glory to the Father in Heaven (Matthew 5:16).
Take this moment to make a conscious decision to live, really live, in the light of Eternity.
God bless you today as you make this commitment.
