February 21-24, Liberty HealthShare will sponsor and attend the American Conservative Union's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, D.C. This annual event draws thousands of attendees from all over the nation and we are excited to have a chance to interact with them.
When members join the Liberty HealthShare community, they agree to a Statement of Shared Beliefs that states, among other tenets, that "We believe that our personal rights and liberties originate from God and are bestowed on us by God, and are not concessions granted to us by governments or men." Liberty HealthShare is a 501(c)3, nonprofit ministry, and we do not align with or endorse any political philosophy or party. However, we are always looking for opportunities to talk with those who feel strongly that economic liberty and freedom of conscience are basic rights, and CPAC is a great place to do just that.
Our Executive Director, Dale Bellis, is slated to speak from the main stage about our ministry, healthcare sharing as a way to pay for healthcare costs, and the third-party-payer system. Like last year, his speech promises to pique the interest and excitement of all those who have the opportunity to hear him. During our time there, we will also conduct radio interviews with legislators and other leaders and will share content for our members through our social media accounts.
If you plan to attend CPAC 2018, please come find us on Radio Row and in the Exhibition Hall. We love meeting our members face-to-face! To stay up-to-date on #CPAC2018, be sure to follow us on our social media accounts, linked at the bottom right of this page.
